Dorset, 2017
Recently I was able to spend a week in Dorset doing some photography of the local surroundings, including some famous landmarks such as Durdle Door and Man O'War Bay. I am really pleased to be back out doing some photography for a personal project on locations around the UK.

All of these images are available to purchase as prints and as acrylic artworks. For more information please contact me on 07891 407815 or email manememories@hotmail.co.uk

Pet Portraits
I love photographing animals, and these dogs were fantastic fun to photograph, they had a playful nature and were extremely well behaved. Being working dogs they love being outside, exploring the words and working with their owners on a day to day basis ready for the season in the winter.

If you would like some natural pet portraits of your dog captured, please contact me on 07891 407815

Dance Photographs
Recently I have had the opportunity to photograph a dance student, studying at Bath university. She contacted me with the idea of photographs in a woodland setting. This is what we created together on a freezing winters afternoon.

These photographs will be used as part of her portfolio for dance.

Equine Updates!
I report frequently at a range of equestrian events all over the country. I have note updated the blog with recent equine events for quite some months, but fear not that doesn't mean I am not attending them. It simply means I am attending so many I have run out of time to update the blog!! (-What a poor excuse!)

Anyway over the last couple of months I have attended showing championships, fancy dress dressage for the veterans, dressage competitions, show jumping competitions. Photographing some of the worlds top riders including the British Olympic and Para-lympic team members from both dressage and show jumping. Here are just a few images from recent events I have attended.

Product Photography - Guns
Over the last nine months I have been photographing the guns made, refurbished and sold at Carl Russell and Co Gunmakers. It has been a learning curve as product photography is not something I had initially had much experience with. However through trial and error processes we are now producing images that show the guns off at their best. These guns are works of art, the engraving, wood work and craftsmanship that goes into making them is truly fascinating. I thoroughly enjoy the challenge of photographing these guns. I hope that you enjoy looking through the photographs.

Big Guns at Hatfield House
Early in September I attended a summer party event at Hatfield House Stable Yard, where Carl Russell and Co unveiled a cannon, and fellow shop owners and their customers at the Toy Shop and Fiona Rae Jewellery enjoyed an evening of laughter and a hog roast. A good evening was had by all.

Katy and Sam's Wedding Party
Congratulations to Sam and Katy! Here are a few photographs of their wedding from Saturday. With a fancy dress theme, and a stunning setting it was a wonderful celebration. The rain even stopped and the sun shone for the evening, some very special memories created.

Wedding at St Albans Cathedral
I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful wedding in St Albans. The sun shone and champagne flowed. It was a very special day, which will remember for a long time to come. Here are a few photographs from the day, I very much look forward to designing the album for this lovely couple. Congratulations to Josephine and Henry!

Stella and Charlie's Wedding @ Horwood House

How to Ride the Walk with Sophie Christiansen OBE
How to Ride the Walk
Last week I had attended a clinic with Para Dressage rider Sophie Christiansen OBE and her trainer Linsay Coleridge Smith. It was an inspirational afternoon spent at Windmill Farm. Look out for the full report and photographs in next month’s Chiltern and Thames Magazine.

Update for the summer 2015!
Over the summer I have been given a wide range of opportunities photographing subjects from dogs, to weddings, to Chinese food! I have not updated my social media pages or blog regularly and so now I will be posting some of the lovely events I have had the pleasure to photograph throughout the summer.
This first post is from a lovely Pet Portrait session, photographed in local woodland. The owners said "our dog will never sit still!" So we played and had fun, and in the process captured some natural and happy images.

Royal Windsor Horse Show
On Friday I visited Royal Windsor horse show as a spectator, something that I do as tradition every year. I thoroughly enjoyed the day, seeing a range of performances from driving, showing and dressage. Including a mini masterclass with Carl Hester and Charlotte Dujardin. It was very interesting to watch and very informative. Again it was also good to see one of the young up and coming dressage horses performing. This was then followed by the Grand Prix, which was an exciting class and was good to see familiar faces from Addington's Premier League last weekend, competing in the class. I couldn't resist taking a few photographs, please enjoy these, they are good memories for myself too.

Dog Portrait
These two dogs came all the way from near Essex to visit myself and the bluebell woods for their photo shoot. We were very lucky with the weather as this had been booked for several months and the rain cleared up in time for the shoot. These two little dogs had great fun playing in the woods, climbing on tree stumps and getting very muddy in some huge puddles. I think these photos really capture their cheeky behaviour.

If you would like a pet portrait done, please do not hesitate to contact me for more information on 07891 407 815.

Premier League Dressage
Over the last few days I have been busy reporting and photographing at the Addington Premier League dressage show. This saw some wonderful horses, and a very competitive Grand Prix on the Saturday. The event also had the young horse classes which showed me an insight into the young prospects and hopeful international dressage horses for the future. It was a particularly special day for myself when I got the opportunity to interview the world number one for the sport Charlotte Dujardin, who was competing her horse in its debut competition. I look forward very much to seeing this report and photographs published in the next issue of Chiltern and Thames magazine.
Here are a few photographs that I took during the event.

Equestrian Photography Update
Recently reporting on equestrian events has taken me to shows of all natures from jumping and dressage to CHAPS (The Coloured Horse and Pony Society). Lots of inspiring talent at all the shows across the board.

Yesterdays show at Patchetts Equestrian Centre was very exciting, with the CHAPS Horse of the Year Show Qualifier classes. Showing off the best the country has to offer and lots of long manes and tails! I thoroughly enjoyed watching all the classes, some very competitive classes including one with over 20 people entered in. This was a great example of a showing show, which are great fun with lots of family members stood around the edge of the arena cheering their friends and family along and it was good to see everyone in the classes getting along and having a laugh with fellow competitors in the line ups.

Look out for reports in Chiltern and Thames magazine for the events I have attended.
